Car rentals are perhaps the least practical option for getting to Disney cruises departing from Florida. The Port Authority requires full payment for parking at the start of your cruise, but you can also prepay through the Port Canaveral website. Preferred parking is available for an extra charge; it allows you to park closer to the ships in an area that is first-come, first-served.
There are lots of bags, so don’t be surprised if it takes a couple of minutes to find all of your luggage. One time when we went to the disembarkation breakfast we had to wait over 20 minutes in line just to exit the ship’s lobby onto the gangway. If you have a quick breakfast in your stateroom prior to disembarking your Disney cruise, exiting the ship is likely to be easier. Right after each breakfast group finishes is the worst time to try and exit the ship. The process for Disney Cruise disembarkation begins the night before you depart and continues into the morning of disembarkation. Day 4: Skagway
Restrooms are located both before and after security, in the ticket halls and in the disembarkation areas inside both terminals. Luggage storage location is in the Crew Center at the north of the Ground Transportation Center. When the Port of Seattle kicked off plans to develop a new cruise ship facility on the Seattle waterfront, we were faced with a challenge. The seaport of Washington State is nicknamed ”The Emerald City“. It currently has 2 passenger terminals - "Terminal 91" and "Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal" (aka "Pier 66"), plus 1 new/planned (Pier 46). Fishermen's Terminal (on Salmon Bay) is the homeport (dock) for Washington state's North Pacific Fishing Fleet (commercial fishing vessels).
When restarted, the new facility will be operated by a private company (TBA) which is due to be responsible for 50% of all development costs (~USD 100 million). Berth's northern portion serves as cruise dock (land area 29 acres / 117,360 m2), while its south end is for docking of breakbulk cargo ships. One service that is unique to cruisers at the Port of Seattle is the complimentary Port Valet.
Flat rate and metered taxi services are readily available from SEA, along with rideshare services including Uber and Lyft. For taxis and most rideshare services, guests are picked up on the third floor of the airport parking garage. Some premium ride services offer curbside pickup on the baggage claim level. Cruise lines also offer airport to cruise terminal shuttles for guests arriving on the same day the cruise departs.

Further up the street, at 1124 Pike Street, you can visit another Starbucks called the Seattle Roastery. Here, you can book a tour and see how the coffee chain roasts its beans. Visit Pike Place Starbucks if you need coffee to start your day. While it’s the first store of the famous chain, despite moving locations, it looks the same as it did originally.

Many cruise guests who live in the United States prefer embarking at a Seattle port, eliminating the need for an international flight. A pier representative will direct guests to their motorcoach once they have collected their luggage, clear customs, and exit the terminal. Transportation service will be provided during the duration of the debarkation process.
There is a Sky Bridge connecting the cruise ship with the covered parking garage making it very easy to walk across to the garage from the cruise terminal. There is also a complimentary shuttle between the parking lot and the cruise terminal. The same system also makes this the ideal place to drop off cruisers who are checking in. Parking is available at Pier 91 for $27 per day for cars and $50 and up per day for RVs and larger vehicles. There are 1,000 spaces available and there is a complimentary shuttle transferring drivers to the cruise terminal from the parking garage.

Alternatively, public transit is available via the Central Link Light Rail that connects the airport to downtown Seattle, from where you can take a taxi to the cruise terminal.

Initially hesitant due to its touristy reputation, we found the experience delightful and are happy we didn’t miss out on visiting.
Taxis to Pier 91 are three miles further and are charged at the regular metered rate, depending on traffic. This service must be applied for while you are onboard enjoying your cruise.
